This Go-Devil L134 2.2L engine is assembled as a standard replacement for Jeeps equipped with the Willys L134 engine.
At our Jeep Village workshops, we carefully assemble each engine and deliver it to you assembled with the flywheel and oil pump already installed.
The blocks are equipped with valve seats, allowing you to use unleaded gasoline.
Each engine is sandblasted, painted Olive Drab, and tested on an engine test bench to ensure proper operation.
You can choose the configuration that matches your original engine with chain timing or Celeron timing gears.
Description
With this 2.2-liter Go-Devil L134 engine—also known as the Willys L134 or Go Devil—you have a reliable foundation for replacing or restoring your Jeep’s engine. This famous four-cylinder engine powered numerous military and civilian Jeep models and remains the gold standard for authentic restorations today.
At our Jeep Village workshops, we assemble each engine with particular attention to tolerances and mechanical clearances to guarantee reliability and longevity. The engine is delivered fully assembled, with the lower engine block mounted, the timing system installed, the flywheel, and the oil pump. This allows you to easily install your accessories and get your Jeep back on the road
To improve the durability of the engine, we equip the cylinder blocks with valve seats, which allows you to use unleaded fuel while limiting wear on the valve seats. Before final assembly, the engine components are sandblasted, then the engine is painted Olive Drab, in keeping with the original appearance of the engines used in military Jeeps. Once assembled, your engine is tested on an engine test bench under various operating conditions to verify that it is functioning properly before packaging and shipping.
To match the different original configurations of the Go-Devil L134 engine, you can choose between a chain timing system or a Celeron sprocket timing system.

When you place your order, a deposit will be applied and refunded to you after we receive your old engine
To receive this deposit refund, you must return your used engine to us in closed and complete condition, with at least the oil pump and flywheel.
The returned engine must be the same type as the engine ordered and must not be dismantled or seriously damaged. The customer is responsible for the shipping costs of the returned engine. The deposit will be refunded after the engine has been received and checked in our workshops.
Each engine is assembled, checked, and tested in our Jeep Village workshops to guarantee you a reliable engine that is ready to hit the road again.
