Our company

Jeep® Village is above all an experience and know-how since 1947.

Based in the Paris region, 11 people are at the service of the jeeps and their owners, among them mechanics, painters, coaches, saddlers, shopkeepers, technicians... animated by the same passion for all civil and military Jeeps from 1941 to the present day. Jeep® Village is also a store with more than 25,000 spare parts references placing the company among the largest in Europe.

1947 : GSAA ( Garenne Surplus Automobile Américain)

Jean-Pierre Chantalat established his company at the Garenne Colombes and then Bernard Botella developed a GSAA branch in Aix en Provence with Mr.Chantalat's daughter. He then takes over the head of GSAA Paris, and revitalizes the manufacture of Jeep® parts for the French army, including a saddlery workshop.

1965: BOUCHER S.A.

Maurice Boucher creates his business in Chevilly-Larue. Naturally, René Boucher, in love with the Jeep® "modern", succeeds his father and develops in France the concept "Jeep® de loisir" in partnership with Renault in the 1980s.

The company has become inevitable for all lovers of the brand.

1992: ARMY POL

Denis Le Priol, another member of the Jeep® community, is hosting a workshop specializing in the restoration of military Jeep® in Juvisy sur Orge.

He is soon joined by Bernard Amiot, success is at the rendezvous and the team is getting better.

1997: The Fusion

It was in 1997 that the companies GSAA and BOUCHER S.A. merged.

They then settle in the old Boucher de Chevilly-Larue premises.

2001: The family grows

In 2001, ARMY-POL joined the company GSAA / BOUCHER on the historic site of Chevilly-Larue.

This second merger gives birth to the current entity: JEEP® VILLAGE

2010: Ordering

After many years at the command of Jeep Village, Bernard Botella has now passed over to his partner Denis Le Priol, who becomes CEO of the Jeep Village entity. Bernard takes a well-deserved rest.

TdM

Like an air of déjà vu, it is after 1 year of exchange, advice and sharing that Denis Le Priol passes in turn the keys of the shop to Thierry de Montrichard, a lover of old mechanics and companies that have marked generations and passions.

A successor to more than 75 years of history, course and adventure, his goal is to revive the "leisure Jeep®" of Mr. Boucher’s fine times while maintaining the reputation and know-how of the "military Jeep®" that Denis established.
