Originally fitted to Ford GPWs between September 1942 and August 1943 inclusive.

The body kit includes: A Ford GPW type D body, a standard grille, an engine cover, the left front wing, the right front wing and an assembled windscreen frame.

Ford GPW Type D body details:

Hole for the trailer socket and reinforcement for jerrycan support on the rear panel - glove box - rounded petrol tank compartment on the front floor - stamping of the rectangular tool compartment latches on the rear wheel arches - standard rear bench seat frame supports Ford GPW - ribbed tool box lids - vertical rear light support on rear panel - reinforcement ribs on rear wheel arches.

STEEL MANUFACTURING ANTI-CORROSION TREATED BY CATAPHORESIS

Assembly order:

1. Place the body on the chassis and move it back as far as possible against the machine-gun support plate.

2.Screw the two front fenders onto the chassis.

3.Move the body forward up against the front fenders then screw the body to the fenders.

4.Do not attempt to align the rear of the body to the rear of the chassis.

5.Drill the floor then bolt the box to the frame.

It is normal to see alignment differences between the rear of the body and the rear frame cross member.

If you proceed differently, you risk having gaps between the fenders and the body, making it impossible to assemble it.
