Originally mounted on Ford GPW after August 1943

Body kit (MBK011) included : A Ford GPW Late body, standard grille, engine hood, left front wing, right front wing and assembled windshield frame.

Ford GPW Type F Body Details :

Hole for the trailer jack and reinforcement for jerry can holder on rear panel - glove box - fuel tank box rounded on front floor - stamping of round tool box latches on rear wheel arches - Rear seat frame type Willys MB - ribbed tool box covers - vertical rear light support on rear panel - reinforcement ribs on rear wheel arches.

STEEL MANUFACTURING ANTI-CORROSION TREATED BY CATAPHORESIS

Assembly order:

1. Place the body on the chassis and move it back as far as possible against the machine-gun support plate.

2.Screw the two front fenders onto the chassis.

3.Move the body forward up against the front fenders then screw the body to the fenders.

4.Do not attempt to align the rear of the body to the rear of the chassis.

5.Drill the floor then bolt the box to the frame.

It is normal to see alignment differences between the rear of the body and the rear frame cross member.

If you proceed differently, you risk having gaps between the fenders and the body, making it impossible to assemble it.
