Article 1 — Purpose and scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “GTCS”) govern all sales concluded between G.S.A.A. S.A.S., operating the website www.jeepvillage.com under the trade name Jeep Village (hereinafter “the Seller”), and any natural or legal person making a purchase via the website or at the counter (hereinafter “the Buyer”).

The purchase of a product implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTCS. They prevail over any other document of the Buyer. The Seller reserves the right to modify them at any time; the applicable GTCS are those in force at the date of the order.

They do not imply any affiliation with manufacturers. Jeep¼ is a registered trademark of Stellantis North America – FCA US LLC.


Article 2 — Customer service and access

Customer Service is available Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 13:30 to 17:30:

The Buyer is responsible for their IT equipment and internet connection. Access costs remain their responsibility.


Article 3 — Products and availability

In accordance with Article L111-1 of the French Consumer Code, the Buyer may review the essential characteristics of each product before placing an order. Photographs, descriptions, and graphics are indicative and may change without affecting usability.

Offers are valid while stocks last. In case of unavailability after order confirmation, the Seller will inform the Buyer as soon as possible and may offer a product of equivalent quality and price. Failing agreement, the Buyer will be fully refunded within a maximum of 14 days.

Product types:

  • New: entirely manufactured from new parts.
  • Refurbished (Remanufactured): wear parts replaced with original new parts; non-wear components reused, inspected, and tested.
  • New Old Stock (NOS): original parts, never installed, manufactured over 20 years ago.
  • Used: inspected, tested, and cleaned; repainted if necessary.

Some new products offered may be refurbished by the manufacturer. This information may not always appear on the product page — please contact us by phone for further details.


Article 4 — Prices

All prices are displayed in euros including VAT applicable on the day of the order. Jeep Village reserves the right to modify prices at any time; the applicable price is that in force at order confirmation. Order processing fees are included.

Shipping and delivery costs are calculated and displayed during checkout.


Article 5 — Orders

To place an order on www.jeepvillage.com, the Buyer must:

  1. Create or log in to their account
  2. Select products and add them to the cart
  3. Check and validate the cart
  4. Enter delivery address and verify contact details
  5. Choose delivery method
  6. Choose payment method and accept GTCS
  7. Confirm and pay

A confirmation email is sent after validation. This confirmation constitutes electronic signature and acceptance of the GTCS.

The Seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a customer with a previous payment dispute or suspected fraud.

Orders by phone, fax, email, or at the counter are also possible at the same prices.


Article 6 — Payment

Accepted payment methods (online):

  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Carte Bleue) via secure CYBERPLUS PAIEMENT (SSL)
  • PayPal
  • Bank transfer
  • Check (shipment 10 days after clearance)

At the counter:

  • Credit card
  • Cash

Payment is due at order. Card and PayPal payments are debited upon validation.

Late payment:
Late payment automatically results in:

  • Immediate payment of all outstanding amounts
  • Late penalties at the legal rate (Article L441-10 Commercial Code)
  • For professionals: €40 fixed recovery fee (Article D441-5)

Payment security:
The Seller uses all technical means to ensure payment data security (SSL, encryption) and may cancel orders suspected of fraud.


Article 7 — Delivery

Dispatch times:
Orders placed before 2:00 p.m. (business day) with in-stock items are shipped within 24 hours. For special orders, estimated times are indicated on product pages. Large or international shipments: minimum 72 hours depending on carrier.

These times are indicative only.

Delivery methods:

  • Colissimo relay point (France & Corsica)
  • Colissimo with signature
  • Express carrier (Chronopost)
  • GĂ©odis / Dachser (bulky goods, by appointment)
  • Counter pickup (minimum 1 business day after payment validation)

For shipments outside mainland France, customs duties and local taxes may apply and are borne by the Buyer.

Inspection upon delivery:
The Buyer must check goods upon receipt. Any anomaly must be noted in writing with the carrier and confirmed by email within 3 business days.

Risk transfers to the Buyer upon handover to the carrier.


Article 8 — Right of withdrawal

Conditions:
Private consumers have 14 calendar days from receipt to withdraw without justification.

Notification must be sent by email or post. A return authorization will then be issued.

Counter sales: no returns or exchanges unless Seller error.

Return conditions:
Products must be returned in perfect resale condition, original packaging intact, with all accessories and invoice.

Incomplete, damaged, or installed products will not be refunded or exchanged. Return shipping costs are borne by the Buyer unless Seller error.

Non-returnable products:

  • Custom or special-order items
  • Hydraulic parts, ABS, airbags, engines, ECUs, electronics, batteries
  • Liquids and lubricants
  • Unsealed or opened items

Article 9 — Refunds

Refunds are processed within 14 business days after receipt and inspection of returned items.

Refunds are made via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

A 40% deduction applies if original packaging is missing or damaged.


Article 10 — Warranties

Legal warranty of conformity: 2 years

Hidden defects warranty: 2 years from discovery

Commercial warranties:

  • Used & NOS parts: 6 months
  • New parts (excluding wear parts): 1 year
  • Refurbished Jeep: 3 months (parts & labor)
  • Fully rebuilt Jeep: 1 year (parts & labor)

Conditions:


Professional installation required, compliance with manufacturer guidelines, prior contact with Seller, return with invoices.

Warranty covers replacement or refund only (no labor, transport, or other costs).

Exclusions:
Improper use, modifications, incorrect installation, missing invoices, unsuitable fuel use, etc.

No warranty extension after replacement.


Article 11 — Approval

Some parts are not road-approved in France/EU. The Buyer must verify compliance.

Non-approved parts must not be used on public roads and may void insurance.

“Offroad” products are not road legal.


Article 12 — Liability

The Buyer is solely responsible for product selection, compatibility, installation, and use.

The Seller is not liable for incompatibility or internet-related damages.


Article 13 — Personal data (GDPR)

Data is collected for order processing and customer relations.

The Buyer has rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection.

Data is not sold but may be shared with service providers for order fulfillment.

Complaints may be addressed to the CNIL.


Article 14 — Intellectual property

All website content is the exclusive property of G.S.A.A. S.A.S.

Any reproduction or use is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.


Article 15 — Archiving and proof

Orders and invoices are archived securely.

Digital records constitute proof of transactions.


Article 16 — Mediation and disputes

Customers should first contact customer service for amicable resolution.

Consumers may use a mediation service free of charge.

Professional disputes fall under Évry courts.


Article 17 — Applicable law

These GTCS are governed by French law.

Jurisdiction: Évry courts.


Article 18 — Severability

If any clause is invalid, the others remain in force.
