Tow Hook Safety Chain Eye Bolt The tow hook safety chain eye bolt securely fastens the safety chain and reinforces the rear trailer hitch attachment. For enhanced trailer security, two anchoring rings are installed on either side of the tow hitch (applicable from chassis number 158372 onward).
When to Replace Your Eye Bolt : Regular inspections are recommended if you frequently use your Jeep for towing. Check for signs of rust or deformation on the bolt or ring. If the trailer hitch is replaced, we advise replacing the eye bolts at the same time to ensure optimal safety and performance.
